Since materialising in late 2004, Deviant UK has established itself as a bright star of the European Dark Alternative stage and is widely acknowledged to be a leader of the resurgent UK scene. The band unleashed debut album 'Barbed Wire Star' in October 2006, spawning the anthemic club hits 'Raptured Saints' and 'Access Denied!'. Astonishingly, the album continues to appear in the UK Alternative Chart two years after its original release and recently sold out of it's third pressing.

This band is best defined onstage, consolidating an ever-growing fanbase through a punishing tour schedule both in the UK and across Europe including Wave Gotik Treffen, Infest, Nocturnal Culture Night, Dark City festivals among others. The band has enjoyed many memorable shows with names like Project Pitchfork, Combichrist, VNV Nation, The Cruxshadows and Rotersand among others.

Quintessentially English & proud of it, Deviant UK is masterminded by devilish singer/songwriter Jay Smith ("a true showman with an ego the size of a planet" - Rocksound Magazine). This is electronic music with a black heart, Smith's angst-ridden vocals coating every song in ice.
